The Latest Booklist: Spotlight on Graphic Novels

Our latest Spotlight on Graphic Novels is now live! Yes, we decided to devote another issue—in addition to our annual July spotlight—to this wonderfully popular format. Get ready to add more vibrantly illustrated graphic novels to your to-be-read list as we offer both a noteworthy top 10 graphic novels for youth and a robust core collection of graphic novel adaptations of highly read titles.

Also in this issue, Donna Seaman checks out some hotel-focused read-alikes inspired by Paulina Bren’s starred review title, The Barbizon: The Hotel That Set Women Free. Julia Smith ponders what chapter-book series to read after finishing the last installment of Ivy + Bean. Heather Booth chats with this year’s Voice of Choice winner, Shayna Small. Plus, the much-anticipated Spring Audiobook Preview, compiled by Biz Hyzy and Heather Booth, rounds out this illuminating issue.

You can also find the complete magazine online! Booklist’s digital edition of the February 1 issue is live. It’s a great way to explore the magazine from your iPhone, iPad, tablet, Samsung Galaxy, or any other internet-connected device. With the digital issue, subscribers will now get print, online, digital, and archival access to the 22 Booklist and four Book Links issues each year! Visit www.booklistonline.com.
