Booklist Goes to TLA

Calling all TLA attendees! From Monday, April 15, through Wednesday, April 18, Booklist will be attending the Texas Library Association’s annual conference in Austin. Be sure to stop by booth #1918 for an embarrassment of middle-grade-themed riches, including:

  • Middle-grade-focused issues of both Booklist and Book Links
  • Sweet temporary tattoos and buttons
  • Complimentary 18 x 24 posters displaying the 50 Best Middle-Grade Novels of the Twenty-First Century
  • Readers’-advisory paper fortune tellers (or cootie catchers, if you will); fold, flip, and find your next favorite middle-grade read!
  • A special appearance from Christina Uss, author of THE ADVENTURES OF A GIRL CALLED BICYCLE (Holiday House), from 10:00 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 16
  • A #MiddleGradeMania-TLA subscription discount; sign up for one whole year of Booklist for just $75 (a 55% savings)
  • Cape-clad Booklisters (we’ll explain this later, we promise)

For all the latest updates, including the launch of #MyMiddleGradeMania (middle-grade-era photos of Booklisters and authors), follow us on Twitter at @ALA_Booklist. See you soon!
