I would recommend a great WWII memoir called Finding St. Lo. It’s by Ted Neill and his information can be found at tenebraypress.com. He puts together an amazing story about a Medic and a SGT. Their families have written essays which he incorporates so well. Just a great look into thier lives at war and then back home.
