The Latest Booklist: Spotlight on Sci-Tech

The December 1 issue of Booklist magazine is now live. Visit Booklist Online, where you’ll find 321 new reviews and 6 new feature articles and lists. The articles will be free to all for the next two weeks—to have unrestricted access, you’ll need to log in. If you aren’t yet a subscriber, or you do subscribe but haven’t registered for access, you can take care of that today!

Our annual Spotlight on Sci-Tech has new top 10 lists for adult readers and books for youth. There are two new subscriber-exclusive core collections in this issue, too: Donna Seaman commemorates the 50 year anniversary of the first moon landing and Julia Smith celebrates space exploration. Be sure to log in to gain access to these wonderfully informed lists. Shaun David Hutchinson, author of many fictional apocalypses, offers his insight into why ending the world is such a favorite for YA readers in the newest “Writers & Readers.” Finally, Bill Ott has fortuitously stumbled upon a TBR list via browsing errant bookstore stacks while traveling in his latest installment of “The Back Page.”

As another Mars rover sends us new and exciting discoveries, be sure to pick up the ones enclosed in the latest Booklist!
