The New York Times has reported that Kwame Alexander is launching his own publishing imprint, Versify, with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. He told the Times that the imprint will focus on “risky, unconventional books like The Crossover,” his Newbery Medal-winning 2014 debut novel, written in verse. Alexander’s inaugural list will be published next spring. We can’t wait!
