Cover Trend Alert: Black and White with a Splash of Neon

Cindy: What’s black and white and NEON all over? YA fiction book covers, that’s what. Lynn recently wrote a post about Moxie, and while reading about Amy Poehler’s movie rights for that story, I added it to my saved list of color-coordinated titles. Laini Taylor led the black and white and neon way a few years ago with Daughter of Smoke & Bone and its sequels, and she’s since been joined by a host of other authors featured here. Leave a comment with similar books that I’ve missed and I’ll check them out after I fire up my Spencer’s Gifts blacklight. . .

Be sure to check out the Booklist reviews for these titles linked below:

All About Mia, by Lisa Williamson

But Then I Came Back, by Estelle Laure

Daughter of Smoke & Bone, by Laini Taylor

Infinite Risk, by Ann Aguirre
