The Influence of Book Groups

Here’s an article from The Millions about the impact of book groups. I’m not sure what I found more fascinating, its description of long-running or elaborate book groups, itsdetails about how the publishing industry and authors are catering to the book group market, or the attempts to make money from book group visits, sometimes gracefully, sometimes less so. This is definitely food for thought.
