#JIAM Katherine Kellgren Booklist Voice of Choice

This year’s top audiobook narrator? The amazingly talented Katy Kellgren  is Booklist magazine’s recipient of the annual Voice of Choice Award for 2011.  I couldn’t be more pleased! When I served on the 2008 Odyssey Award committee, Listen & Live Audio was awarded the Odyssey Honor for Bloody Jack, narrated by the capable Kellgren. Since then , every Odyssey celebration has featured a title narrated by Kellgren, as have the Audio Publishers Association’s Audies Awards. Want to learn more about Kellgren? Read the fantastic feature article written by Joyce Saricks in this month’s Booklist magazine, the yearly Audiobook feature issue. Plus Katy’s been a guest here on my blog’s Inside the Audiobook Studio feature. Congratulations to Katy for this honor! If you will be attending the ALA Annual Conference in New Orleans, be sure to attend the Odyssey Award celebration to hear Katy, on Monday, June 27, 2011, 4:00pm – 5:30pm Convention Center Rm 356-357. Hope to see you there!
