Librarians Make Terrible Pets
Cindy and Lynn: We’re home from ALA’s 2010 Annual Conference laden with books and new ideas and are ready to return you to our regularly scheduled blog posts tomorrow. The exhibit halls are always fun for us, and usually worth a good photo op. A few years ago we captured Lynn posing with Iron Man, this year, Cindy found this prop at the Little, Brown Books for Young Readers booth, an advertisement for the forthcoming book, Children Make Terrible Pets by Peter Brown. We can’t wait to tell you about all the new books we picked up.
While you wait, check the blog-o-sphere for post-ALA posts. Two of our favorite bloggers have provided great re-caps:
Angela at Bookish Blather uses photos and words to describe her visit as tourist and exhibit-attendee in this fun post.
Travis at 100 Scope Notes has a video tour of his ALA experience today and promises words tomorrow. Covering all the multiple intelligences like a good educator. We’re waiting for his kinesthetic coverage, but this will do in the meantime.
Update: Make that three bloggers. FYI, Monica at Educating Alice has a fun recap created with a liberal use of initials.
