This Week on Well Read TV: Special “Working with Words” Episode

In this special episode of Well Read, host Elisa Jaffe will be speaking with New York Times best-selling author Garth Stein (A Sudden Light, 2014) and Seattle Times book editor (and Well Read co-host) Mary Ann Gwinn about the writing process. In addition to these interviews, the episode will feature clips from past guests on subjects ranging from writing and research to character development. In the video clip above, Stein juxtaposes the writing “craft, the stuff that we can learn . . . language, plot, dialogue, pacing,” with art and inspiration.

To tune into this week’s one of a kind installment, check your public television affiliate’s schedule and World Channel beginning this Friday, February 10.
