Sex and Swashbuckling: Pirate Romance

Shiver me timbers and batten down me hatches, today is International Talk Like a Pirate Day, and have we got some great pirate romances for you! We’ve highlighted a few of our favorite female pirate heroines, but there are lots of other books from which to choose—including present-day pirates and sexy steampunk pirates on airships.

A lady by day and the pirate Red Siren by night, Faith no longer believes in God; after all, her mother died in childbirth and her eldest sister’s husband is abusive. The first ship Faith captures belonged to Dajon Waite, who goes on to become a navy captain.  They meet again when her father appoints him guardian to Faith and her sisters. Sparks fly between them, but what will happen when Dajon discovers that Faith is the Red Siren?
