Our Daily Update Is Getting a New Look on Monday

booklist-reader_logoMany of you already know that the best way to follow The Booklist Reader isn’t by bookmarking the URL in your browser and then setting reminders to check for new posts four times a day. And frantically scrolling through your Twitter feed for one of our trademark sassy tweets is fun, but not always reliable. The in-the-know realize that the best way to ensure you don’t miss a single tantalizing post from this blog is to subscribe by email—and that daily update is about to get a brand-new look.

On Monday, our current daily update will be replaced by a simple, easy-to-use, and all-around-better newsletter. It will have the same great content—whether you’re looking for statistics about the growing length of middle-grade novels, a ranked list of the 50 weirdest YA character names ever, or great books to pair with your favorite podcasts—but we can also guarantee that it will fit in your pocket more easily, thanks to a mobile-friendly, responsive design.

The Booklist Reader: Don't Miss a PostEmails, which will be sent mid-to-late afternoon Monday through Friday, will come from booklist@ala.org (instead of the utterly inelegant noreply+feedproxy@google.com), so be sure to whitelist that address if you haven’t already done so.

What’s that? You don’t already get the daily updates via email? Well, here’s your chance to sign up now. If you change your mind and want to go back to hunting for tweets, we won’t hold it against you.
