Book Trailer Thursday: The Art of the Possible

In the trailer for his book The Art of the Possible: An Everyday Guide to Politics (OwlKids), Edward Keenan explains that he wrote the book with illustrator Julie McLaughlin so that kids (and grown-ups) can understand better how they fit into the confusing, even disenchanting, political process.

Booklist reviewer Kathleen McBroom says the book’s “logical, relevant approach, combined with realistic suggestions on how to get involved, makes for an engaging alternative to standardized texts and just might spark some political careers.” Well into debate season and heading into an election year that’s sure to only get more politically complicated, it seems that The Art of the Possible couldn’t be more timely.
