This Week on Well Read TV: Gloria Steinem Talks about My Life on the Road

This week on Well Read, feminist icon Gloria Steinem will be speaking with hosts Terry Tazioli and Mary Anne Gwinn about her newest book, My Life on the Road (2015). Steinem has dedicated her career to the fight for equality and is perhaps best known for her political activism. My Life on the Road chronicles her experiences traveling the world, where she gained much of her wisdom by listening to those she encountered along the way. In the video clip above, Steinem answers readers’ questions, including, “I love the idea of travel and learning. Where would you recommend a young, single woman venture out to in hopes of living a story worth telling?”

To watch her full conversation with Tazioli and Gwinn, check your public television affiliate’s schedule for this Friday, November 27.
