Remembering Leonard Nimoy With His Audio Performance in War of the Worlds

The passing of the multi-talented actor and artist Nimoy has shocked fans who mourn the loss of the icon Mr. Spock. Nimoy reprises his Star Trek role on many audiobooks detailing the Star Trek world, narrates his biography I Am Spock (1995), and performs on spoken word recordings in the NPR series “Selected Shorts.” His voice will live long, and listeners will prosper.

Listen to Star Trek cast members in this full production of L.A. Theatre Works’ production of H.G. Wells’ classic, “War of the Worlds,” plus an interview with Nimoy.

“War of the Worlds” stars Leonard Nimoy as Professor Pierson, with John de Lancie, Brent Spiner, Gates McFadden, Armin Shimerman, Wil Wheaton, Jerry Hardin, Dwight Schultz, Meagan Fay, and Tom Virtue. Live sound effects by Amy Strong. The director is John de Lancie. This play is part of L.A. Theatre Works’ Relativity Series featuring science-themed plays, a collection that is completely free along with classroom lessons and activities.
