2014 National Book Award Longlist for Young People’s Literature

On September 15th, the National Book Foundation released the longlist for their National Book Award for Young People’s Literature. Many of the longlisted authors are seasoned writers of young people’s fiction, while others have only a few titles under their belt. However, each one has made an impact in the field with their notable work. The National Book Award Finalists will be announced October 15th on NPR’s Morning Edition, and the winners will be revealed on November 19th at the National Book Awards Ceremony and Benefit Dinner. Below are the contending titles, linked to Booklist reviews when available.
