Web Crush of the Week: Pop Goes Fiction

As readers of Shelf Renewal know, we love personal book blogs.  This week we’re crushing on Pop Goes Fiction,  the blog of librarian Lora Bruggeman.

Many of the personal book blogs we showcase here are the chatty type, where you’re just as likely to read about someone’s cat or what they had for dinner last night, not just what they’re reading. Lora doesn’t dispense chatter or personal stories, she gets straight to book reviews. Everything from women’s fiction to YA titles, old stuff and new releases. What do we like most about her posts? She often ends them with readalike titles or authors. Swoon!
