Dusty Book: Henry’s List of Wrongs

henryIn Henry’s List of Wrongs by John Scott Shepherd,  Henry—a ruthless businessman known as “The Assassin”—has let an event from his past dictate his life.  When he discovers this past memory had more to it then he ever knew, he decides (with the help of a psych student who isn’t what she seems) to make amends with the people he’s wronged to get where he is.

When this came out in 2002, it got big buzz because it was slated to be a movie starring Jim Carrey.  That never materialized,  and Shepherd—a screenwriter with other movies to his credit—has only written one more novel since, so I’ll bet this funny page-turner is just sitting there on your shelves, waiting to make someone laugh out loud.
