Orange is the New Blockbuster

orangePiper Kerman’s tale of her year in a women’s prison, Orange is the New Black, was a women’s magazine fave when it came out three years ago. Now that it’s become a series on Netflix, it’s a breakout hit. (Prison. Breakout. Ha!) For other perspectives on life behind bars (real and imagined) direct your patrons to these tales of incarceration.

(To see books referenced on the show, check out  the Books of Orange is the New Black tumblr. As they say,”Piper Kerman is the new Rory Gilmore.”)
