Web Crush of the Week: The Book Cover Archive

bookcoversBook lovers, be prepared to waste spend your Friday afternoon on this delight of a site. Librarians, be prepared to whip this one out the next time you have a reader’s advisory question that starts with, “Well, it had a red cover…”

The Book Cover Archive currently showcases just over 1,300 book covers, and is hopefully growing as we speak.  You can browse in a variety of ways: by designers, titles, authors, photographers, illustrators, genres, and more. (Even by typeface!)

They are working on enhancements, including a submission form and book descriptions, so stay tuned.
