Web Crush of the Week: EvilReads

Here is why we do what we do–because, without us, you might never have known about Andrew Shaffer’s hilarous tumbler British Crime Writers, Glaring. And you wouldn’t have known about it, because you’re not reading his humorous publishing news and gossip blog EvilReads or following him on Twitter.

Shaffer will own up to being “the author of Great Philosophers Who Failed at Love and, under the pen name “Fanny Merkin,” Fifty Shames of Earl Grey: A Parody. His next book, Literary Rogues, will be released by Harper Perennial in February 2013. His writing has appeared in such diverse publications as Mental Floss and Maxim. He reviews romance, erotica, and women’s fiction for RT Book Reviews magazine.”

You can find him and his otther aliases on Twitter at @andrewtshaffer, @evilwylie, and/or @emperorfranzen. (Do not be suprised that the guy who reviews and parodies erotica has some mature content.)

  1. gerardsaylor@hotmail.com' Gerard says:

“Jeremy Duns, glaring. NOTE: Since his move to Sweden, he no longer glares. He squints poetically.”

    That’s a good one.
