Indies Choice 2011: Room and Unbroken

So, I was all excited to post about the 2011 Indies Choice awards… when I realized, we’ve actually already spent a lot of time on this blog talking about the 2 main winners!
The Adult Fiction Book of the Year is Room, by Emma Donoghue, which should be no surprise. The Adult Nonfiction Book of the Year is Unbroken, by Laura Hillenbrand.

The Adult Debut Book of the Year is Matterhorn, by Karl Marlantes, a book I am unfamiliar with, so at least this is helpful to me, for that. It was also interesting to see the Honor Awards (basically, the shortlist), so be sure to check those out for some possible picks.
