Kiss Kid’s Spoken Word Grammy Goodby

One less resource for audiobook selectors – the Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album For Children has been eliminated in a reorganization. The Recording Academy has reduced the number of award categories, ending with 78 total awards from a past roster of 109.     What a shame. Some of the best audio books I’ve listened to (The Book Thief, Hunger Games trilogy and Harry Potter series to name a few) would be considered children’s books.
