Reindeer Games Answers

In my last post, I posted some puzzles from one of my book group’s annual Christmas celebration. Here are the promised answers:

The first list of items represented the Chronicles of Narnia in this order:

  • The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (a picture of Barry Sanders, a Detroit Lion for his entire career)
  • The Magician’s Nephew (the magician David Copperfield)
  • Prince Caspian (a picture of Prince, the singer)
  • The Last Battle (a picture of Waterloo)
  • The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (Tony Orlando’s backup group)
  • The Silver Chair (the Lone Ranger’s horse)
  • The Horse and His Boy (Boy George)

The second category of pictures represented the works of Ray Bradbury.

  • Dandelion Wine (the picture of a dandelion)
  • The Martian Chronicles (Marvin the Martian)
  • The Illustrated Man (a tattooed gentleman)
  • Something Wicked this Way Comes (a picture from the musical Wicked)
  • Fahrenheit 451 (a picture of a man working on a thermometer)

  • S is for Space (Superman’s logo)

The anagrammed titles are:
