Top of the List audiobook

Congratulations to the top 2010 audiobook: The Girl Who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest by Stieg Larsson, read by Simon Vance and produced by Books on Tape. One of only eight titles on Booklist Magazine’s best-of-the-best Top of the List awards list – selected from the year’s Editor’s Choice titles, which will be announced in the January Booklist Magazine and on BooklistOnline. Vance’s stellar narration of the complete Millennium trilogy is a marvel, with this final installment the icing on the cake. No stranger to Booklist’s praise, Vance was the first recipient of Booklist’s yearly Voice of Choice award in 2008. You can learn more about Simon’s career & craft, including his narration of the Larsson titles, in this interview with Stephanie Ciccarelli. Stop by Simon’s website to read his blog post on recording the trilogy, and watch his video blogs that take you inside his recording studio. And while you’re visiting his blog, be sure to wish Simon a Happy Birthday – making December 16th the perfect day to announce his latest audiobook honor 🙂
