Community Reads for Fall

39164964The Chicago Public Library has announced the selection for the next installment of its One Book One Chicago program:  Toni Morrison’s A Mercy. Morrison will come to town for a reading and talk in October. This is One Book One Chicago’s 19th selection.

 Some other community reads coming up in the few months:

Nashua, NH is reading We Are All Welome Here by Elizabeth Berg. 

Concord, NH is reading Funny in Farsi and Laughing without an Accent by Firoozeh Dumas.

Vermont is reading The Day of the Pelican by Katherine Paterson.

San Francisco is reading Zeitoun by Dave Eggers. So is East Lansing MI.

Fort Collins (CO) is reading The Art of Racing in the Rain by Garth Stein. So is Richardson TX.
