Free audiobook: Alice in Wonderland

Great family listening for Spring Break! Were you intrigued by Blackstone Audio’s innovative audiobook app of Alice, but don’t have an iPhone or iTouch? Never fear! You can download the same production of Alice in Wonderland through March 16th via AudioFile Magazine’s celebration of all things Alice. Besides the free full-length book, you can listen to conversations with narrator Michael York and Gabrielle de Cuir, the audiobook’s producer. Plus, you can compare three versions of Alice on audio, and hear Jim Dale describe his experience narrating Alice. There are links to an abundance of Alice-ania, including photos from The Delivery, an Alice-inspired film about the wonderland of audiobooks, produced by Stefan Rudnicki and directed by de Cuir and featuring Scott Brick, Michael York, Efrem Zimbalist Jr., Mirron Willis, Dan Musselman, Harlan Ellison, and Orson Scott Card. Catch a look at the faces of some of your favorite voices in the video trailer to the film below – an interesting comparison to the 1903 silent version at the top of this post!
