PEACE WINS PRIZE

coverBack on August 22nd last year I suggested the title Peace by Richard Bausch for a book discussion. I even included some suggested book discussion questions for you to use. I am happy to see that the book has just won the W. Y. Boyd Literary Award for Excellence in Military Fiction for 2009. The award honors the best fiction set in a period when the United States was at war. The $5,000 award and citation, donated by author W. Y. Boyd II, recognizes the service of American veterans and encourages the writing and publishing of outstanding war-related fiction. I think this is a good example of a title that has the potential to attract some men to your book discussions.
