. Morris is republishing his 2007 crime novel, A Gentle Axe, in a surprising fashion. Not content with hardcover and paperback — and, I pre

sume, audiobook, Morris is serializing A Gentle Axe via Twitter, in 140-character chunklets. A great gimmick — I mean, every author out th

ere should be thinking about a “first” they can grab for themselves (I’m thinking “first novel written on a Web site by the readers, allowi

ng the author to collect a royalty check for doing nothing) — but isn’t this really just a keitai shousetsu, or cell phone novel? Just ask
