New iPod for the holidays?

Did you find a new shiny toy in your stocking? Packing up your old iPod ready to ship to the Island of Misfit Toys? Give it a second chance! If you are like me, you just might have at least one old iPod languishing at the bottom of the technology drawer, nested in a bundle of mystery cords. But there are some great ideas to change that iPod into a trusty workhorse gadget, thanks to Lifehacker. Check out this great post for ideas to keep you busy this weekend: Top 10 Ways to Repurpose Your Old iPod. I plan to load up my old Nano with PodGourmet. Now that iPod can live in the kitchen junk drawer. I bought my mom a new player and am teaching her how to download audiobooks, but repurposing your old iPod as a preloaded audiobook player for a relative is a great way to convert a new audiobook addict!
