The Tale of Despereaux – the film: Listen first!

I am so glad the Alison Morris, PW’s Shelftalker blogger, gave us her movie review of a sneak-peek of Universial Picture’s The Tale of Despereaux. Especially as she kept referencing the awesome audiobook of Despereaux and how the film needed to measure up to the images created by audiobook narrator Graeme Malcolm and his marvelous vocal characterization. Malcolm’s performance is so amazing it was featured in an Unshelved Sunday Book Club comic strip. If you need a good listen for a holiday car trip, The Tale of Despereaux will keep all ages mesmerized! Just listen to the clip below…
